Ladder – Roof – Ladder Fall Restraint Fall Arrest Level 3 Safety Kit: From Ground Level to Roof Ridge.

The Ladder -Roof- Ladder Fall Restraint Fall Arrest Level 3 Safety Kit is ideal for those who need to maintain three points of contact whilst climbing a secure ladder onto a roof ladder when using your individual fall protection PPE.

Safety Kit Content: 

• Ridgegear full body harness with front and rear anchor points. Compliant with EN361.
• Restraint short lanyard, scaffold hook & karabiner (fall restraint use only) The restraint lanyard allows the user to maintain a 3rd point of contact if used as per training and information provided (EN354).
• Viper rope grab (fall arrest) with twist lock karabiner this allows the user to keep continuous contact with the rope that is attached to the ladder.
• Zinc coated reusable steel screw eye which screws into a wall plug10mm that has been secured into a solid structure.
• Worksafe lever 14mm re-usable wall anchor, drill a 14mm hole to the depth of the barrel which is 52mm. Insert the barrel fully so that the back plate is flush with the wall, then move the lever into the lock position.
• Ladder webbing slings with karabiner, this system allows the user to secure the ladder with a 5mtr tensioning strap which is fastened to the wall anchor.
• Ladder roof ladder webbing sling, there are two of these which as per training allows the user to feed through the stile of the ladder loop over the rung and connect your rope.
• Rope lifeline, 10 mtr, (with karabiner) attach the rope and karabiner to the top of the ladder webbing sling as per training.
• Rope lifeline, 8 mtr, (with karabiner) attach the rope to the top of the roof ladder webbing sling as per training.
• 5 mtr tensioning straps used to secure the leaning ladder to an anchor bolt which is secured into a solid structure.
• 1 mtr tensioning straps used to fasten round your top ladder stabalisation equipment and tie your roof ladder to a roof ladder.
• Black duffel bag( abrasion nylon resistant) helps to keep your safety kit in one place and dry.

Training:

This equipment is intended to be used by persons who have been trained in its co-application and use.

The Ladder – Roof – Ladder Fall Restraint Fall Arrest Level 3 Safety Kit has been designed to achieve safe access work position and egress off a leaning ladder onto roof ladder when accessing a pitched roof.

The level 3 roof ladder, ladder system (secure ladder to wall, secure operative to ladder) with the added ability to secure the roof ladder to the access ladder and safely transfer from the leaning ladder onto the roof ladder maintaining three points of contact at all times.
