Roof Ladder – Ladder Level 3 Working at Height Safety Kit

The roof ladder, ladder level 3 safety kit is ideal for those who need to maintain three points of contact whilst allowing two hands free when working at height off ladders. The ladder roof ladder work at height kit is used by many industries throughout the UK.

Kit Content

1 x Ridgegear safety harness with front and rear D ring anchor points. Compliant with EN361
1 x Restraint short lanyard, scaffold hook & karabiner (3rd point of contact, Fall restraint use only) Zero fall factor if used as per training.
1 x Rocker rope grab or a viper rope grab (fall arrest) with screw-lock karabiner
4 x Steel screw eye, we use this to screw into a wall plug which is inserted into a 10mm pre-drilled hole into a suitable wall structure.
2 x Ladder webbing slings, if used as per training allows the operative to feed through the stiles of the ladder and loop back over the rung, then connect your kernmantle rope.
1 x 10mtr kernmantle rope with screw-gate karabiner, attach rope to the webbing sling on your leaning ladder, then when the ladder is placed against the wall structure and secure tie the rope to 3rd rung from the bottom of your ladder.

1 x 8mtr kernmantle rope with screw-gate karabiner. attach this rope to the roof ladder webbing sling below the roof ladder hook as per training.

1 x 5mtr ladder tensioning strap, feed this through the stiles off your ladder, make sure the ladder is at the correct angle, four rungs up then one rung out, secure the ladder to the wall anchor using the 5mtr ladder ratchet tie as per training. (Do not overtighten)
1 x 1mtr ladder tensioning strap, this is used to tie the roof ladder to the leaning ladder at gutter level as per training.
1 x nylon draw-string holdall bag.
